On February 1, 2021 Jackie Lovely, our Member of Legislative Assembly, read 'Eloïse the Dragon Hunter' written by Mandi Johnson and Kathy Rondeau in front of the library. This newly published book about friendship and discovering a dragon involves three generations: the authors are mother and daughter, while the main character, Eloise, is written as the granddaughter. Members of the Library Board were present. While the weather was a bit nippy, all attending kept their distance and wore their masks and mittens! Ms. Lovely graciously donated the book to the Holden Library.
